Include your iPhone model, iOS version, Mora version and a short description of what happened. A screenshot can help. Please do not send your Apple Account password, payment details or other sensitive information.
Restore cosmetic purchases
- Use the same Apple Account you used for the original purchase.
- Connect to the internet and open Mora.
- Tap More options (•••), choose Collection, then scroll to the bottom.
- Tap Restore purchases and complete any Apple prompt.
This restores verified App Store cosmetic entitlements. Purchased Quiet Chest products restore their assigned cosmetic. It does not recover locally earned appearances, welcome-chest gifts, rating, game history or other local progress.
If a paid appearance is still missing, check the Apple Account used for the purchase, reopen Mora and try restoration again. If it remains missing, contact us with the product name and what happened.
Common questions
What works offline?
Chess gameplay, rating, saved history and game analysis run locally. App Store purchases and restoration need an internet connection.
Do cosmetic purchases make me stronger?
No. They change the appearance of your board, pieces or accents. They do not change chess rules or computer strength. Quiet Chest rewards and odds are shown before purchase.
What happens if I delete the app?
Mora stores game progress on your device. Deleting the app can remove that local data. Restore purchases recovers App Store cosmetic entitlements, not saved games, rating, streaks or gifts. Mora does not operate an account or cloud-sync service for progress.
Is Mora’s rating an official chess rating?
No. Mora uses a local, app-specific rating to adjust its computer opponent. It is not a FIDE or online chess rating.
How do I request a refund?
Apple handles App Store payments and refund decisions. Visit Apple’s Report a Problem page to request a refund. Refunded or revoked purchases may no longer unlock their cosmetic.
